(External) ECORISMO - Tourism-friendly Environmental Solutions

Concrete and practical sustainable solutions for tourism professionals developing new programs.

ECORISMO© is a pan-Canadian event that will bring together tourism industry decision-makers from across the country. The idea stemmed from a common wish to help Canadian tourism businesses adopt technologies involving low carbon emissions and practices that support sustainable development in their communities. This will enable them to make the shift to address the interests of tourists seeking more eco-responsible and sustainable destinations.

This event is organized by the Société économique de l’Ontario in collaboration with François-Tourisme-Consultants (FTC). This will be the very first North American edition of the ECORISMO Forum, and it will be taking place in Ottawa on September 10 and 11, 2018. Developed by FTC, this unique concept has so far given rise to fourteen forums in France and Morocco, which have brought together thousands of professional visitors, exhibitors and speakers since 2007.
