Celebrate National Indigenous History Month at the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival with city-wide Indigenous programming and events throughout June, culminating in the Festival’s signature weekend event on June 20 & 21, at Wesley Clover Parks in Ottawa. Enjoy two days of FREE, family-friendly programming featuring live performances, interactive cultural experiences, and activities for all ages.

Experience the excitement of the International Competition Pow Wow with host drum Sacred Flight, plus the debut of a NEW Smoke Dance category. Stay for the Glow-in-the-Dark Pow Wow and a spectacular drone show.

Explore Indigenous foods, hands-on workshops, axe throwing, Inuit Games, Jed the Mechanical Bull, and visits with Madahoki Farm’s Ojibwe Spirit Horses. Shop one-of-a-kind creations at the Indigenous Marketplace.
