Administrative Assistant
Ontario Snow Resorts Association (OSRA)

The Ontario Snow Resorts Association (OSRA) is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the association and provide administrative and financial support to the President.  

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating organized systems, managing administrative processes, and supporting a professional membership organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the association’s administration, financial processes, and member services. 

While the primary focus of the role is administrative coordination and bookkeeping support, candidates who also bring strengths in communications, marketing, or event coordination will be highly valued. This vacancy is the result of retirement. 

What You'll Do

• Coordinate day-to-day administrative operations of the association office

• Maintain the OSRA membership database and respond to member inquiries
• Manage financial administration including accounts payable, receivable, deposits, and record keeping
• Assist with remittances and financial documentation (HST, payroll deductions, etc.)
• Maintain organized electronic records and administrative systems
• Support logistics and registrations for seminars, meetings, and association events
• Assist with preparation and distribution of newsletters and member communications
• Provide administrative support for reports, meetings, and special projects

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 3+ years of administrative experience
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience supporting bookkeeping or financial administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Professional communication skills and a member-service mindset

Experience with accounting software, membership databases, communications tools, or event coordination will be considered strong assets.

Candidates who enjoy working in a small office environment where responsibilities are varied and no two days are exactly the same will thrive in this role.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $55,000 - $60,000
• 3% RRSP employer matching
