Alongside our colleagues at OTEC, TIAO is pleased to support an important research study that seeks to create a more equitable and inclusive workplace for the Tourism & Hospitality sector.
Our partners at the Diversity Institute, Toronto Metropolitan University and Skills for Change are asking employers, managers and supervisors in the tourism and hospitality sector who have experience working with newcomers to participate in a research study called: “Identifying solutions towards aspired career pathways and quality of work in the hospitality sector”.
Employers who have staff that are new to Canada and are able to speak about recruitment and retention practices are key to making this project a success. We encourage all of our members and partners to complete the survey, share the link below with their business networks and help spread the word as we work towards expanded career opportunities for newcomers in Tourism & Hospitality.
